Seoul Part 4 - Dong Dae Mun for 'You Who Came From The Stars' Exhibition, Apgujeong Rodeo Street for Dami's Rare Market

Day 5:

We spent day 5 solely in Dong Dae Mun (DDM)! Even though our hotel is in DDM, we have yet to spend time here so day 5 is for DDM woo~ Actually to be exact, the station is Dong Dae Mun History and Culture Park.

Firstly, we visited the You Who Came From The Stars exhibition! My mom and I were super excited when we saw the posters near the station. We had to go! We both watched this drama series and we are deeply in love~ The tickets cost about 10$ SGD (around there, I could not remember) and in we went!!!!

The exact lobby of Do Min Jun and Cheon Song Yi's houses

View from Do Min Jun's balcony

Green screen

Majority is all green screen!!!

The very famous Do Min Jun's room haha

T-Shirts sold there

Super cute chicken and beer keychains sold there,
Cheon Song Yi's favorites hahaha

Baked potato sold there

And that is all for the You Who Came From The Stars exhibition! It was so exciting to see the live set in front of your eyes! And I still can't believed that so many scenes were filmed with the help of the green screen. For example, green screen was directly in front of the "balcony" cause the whole scenery was not real. This is crazy! Green screen helped so much and the scenes came out so natural. I am proud and glad that I have learnt about the green screen when I was in poly hehe. *thumbs up*

Taeyang~ promo for his title song Nose, Eyes, Lips <3 love it!

Mama with an actor she really likes

Settled for lunch at a restaurant called 'Battery Park'

Koreans love their pickles

Creamy cheese and mushrooms pizza

Creamy cheese and mushrooms risotto

I was surprised how we ordered two almost similar dishes, both containing creamy cheese and mushrooms!!! But overall, this meal was SO GOOD. So glad we got into this restaurant!! Yum.

And this was for dessert! It first came like how it looked like in the first photo, and then the waiter would crush the cone with a little hammer and then it will look like how it looks like in the second photo. Inside the crispy yet chewy cone was something like Nutella and Caramel, and I like how it complements everything together with the matcha powder. The vanilla bean ice-cream was so good too and it is my favorite ice-cream flavor! SUPER YUMMY DESSERT. Can I bring this to Singapore? Hahaha completely loveeee this idea.

After lunch, we left DDM! As we had other places to visit and we have decided that we would leave DDM for the last day of shopping since it is so near our hotel. Heh.

After that, we headed to Apgujeong Rodeo Street station to hunt for 'Rare Market' - a boutique owned by G-Dragon's sister, Dami Kwon.

We got help from a volunteer guide at the subway station and he walked us to Rare Market

There were plenty of interesting buildings and sightings while on the way to Rare Market! It is actually pretty far from the station so I suggest you either use a GPS or get help from the station before walking there! Or you can cab. We had to walk through the little streets and it was quite far that I could not keep track haha.

AND WE ARE HERE!

The silver petals (?) or things you see on the building actually moves with the wind so they make a very pretty color wave when they move from the left to the ride side from the wind. SO PRETTY. I can look at it all day!

Loving the sign and the logo so much

Cones at the small carpark right outside the boutique, like about 5 lots or so

To be continued...
