We went to the venue at about 230pm to get ready and I have to say I am extremely happy with the service of the staff members there. They were very helpful and nice too. I'm glad I had my party at Grand Park Hotel, thanks to the recommendation from my Aunt.

After all the snapping of photos, time passed really quickly. I haven't even gotten to eat yet! And in no time, it was time for the cake-cutting session.
I am soooo sad I did not snap any pictures of my birthday cake, let alone eat it! Haha. It is a full fondant cake with pretty flowers on top! I really love the color combination of the flowers, the number '21' in front, the 'Happy Birthday Tingxin' text and everything!
For those who might be interested, I ordered this cake from Lucille and she works from home! She is very nice and I liked how I could converse with her through Whatsapp and she would very patiently advise me from the colors, to the weight of the cake and so much more.

It was then my turn to give my speech. I was never good at making speeches so when it was time to give my very own speech to everyone, I was soooo freakin' nervous. I stammered and dragged that the speech lasted for about 30 minutes...? Heh.
Therefore, I thought it would be better for me to type out my whole speech so as for you guys to read it once again (in case I did not make myself clear enough at the party).
So here goes.
Time really flies. I did not even notice that I am turning 21!
I've decided to throw a party this year because when is the next time I can have a birthday party? When I'm 25? 26? 30? I will make this speech short and sweet so please bear with me.
To my parents,
This party would not even happen without you guys (and your wallets). Thank you for being the best parents any child could have asked for in this world. I am so lucky and blessed to have parents like you; who love me so endlessly, always doting on me, always giving me more than I can ask for, always forgiving me of all my wrongdoings and never giving up on me. I have so much to say but everyone here will start to fall asleep so for now, I just want to say, thank you or being the perfect Mom and Dad. I will strive to be a better daughter and person. I love you both so much.
To my brothers Glenn and Luther,
All of us are total opposites like black and white, but truth is I know that we would be incomplete without each other. Thank you for everything and love you all so much. Marilyn, you too!

You have been with us ever since I was born! Thank you for always complaining that my room is in such a mess, but always cleaning up my shit after me. I really appreciate the home-cooked meals I can enjoy every single day and they are way too precious. Thank you for everything and I hope you never leave us.

Thank you for recommending this party venue and persuading me into having a 21st birthday party. Thank you for always doting on my and treating me like a little princess together with my late Uncle Seng Gu (who will be my ultimate favorite forever and always). You guys will always be my best and favorite Uncle and Aunt.
